Interval International is the second largest timeshare vacation exchange network in the world. IntervalWorld has amassed 2 million members over its 30 year history. Interval International was founded in 1976. Craig Nash is the CEO. Marriott, owners of Marriott Vacation Club, was one of the initial investors in Interval. Intervalworld was created in recent years to offer web access to Interval members.

IntervalWorld.com is the website address for Interval members to use to search for Intervalworld resorts that might be available for exchange. Timeshare owner members deposit their timeshare week into the Intervalworld system in order to receive permission to withdwraw another week in trade. IntervalWorld members never get to complete access to view all the timeshares in the Interval system. Timeshare owners are only shown weeks that Intervalworld wants to show them. One serious complaint is that timeshare owners never really know what was deposited and truly available in the system; only what is shown to them by Interval
